A coon bait designed to produce especially in dog-proof traps, although it produces coon and mink in any set you can imagine! A special blend of fresh fish, crayfish, and a subtle anise undertone really makes this bait a go-to on the coon and mink line.
It doesn't get any "minkier" than this. Heavy paste mink gland base with a couple of minky additives that really produce. Also an excellent attractant for late season coon, and as a change-up on the fox, coyote, and bobcat trapline.
This highly versatile lure has the ability to reach out and grab canines by the nostrils. A loud foxy base blended with complex additives make this lure valuable as a long-distance call, a gland lure, as well as a curiosity type attractant.
Perfect for the high production, high efficiency muskrat trapper. A sweet and musky, squirt-and-go type liquid lure that stands up to the elements and stops you from having to look around for a dipping stick.
I’ve known Andy Weiser for some time now. He has paid his trapping dues as much as anyone. Out of high school, Andy left Ohio for better trapping grounds. He landed in Montana where he has built a reputation as an excellent coyote trapper. Andy traps year-round. Ranchers trust and depend on him. Twice he has taken his coyote killing skills to ranchers in central Mexico. His wealth of knowledge is broad and deep.
Andy is a straight shooter. He tells it like it is. He has many trusted friends, both in and out of the trapping industry. Somehow he has fostered friendships with the best of the best trappers ever. Many have passed on, and some are unknown in the larger circles. No doubt these friendships have been fulfilling and made him so knowledgeable.
At the minimum, you will enjoy this video. I guarantee it. I can’t imagine you won’t learn from it. I spent a week with Andy filming it. I brought home way more than raw footage. - Mark Steck
Designed by Andy Weiser. This gear bag holds four, 4 ounce, lure jars and is designed to keep the jars from falling out of the pouch. It has a side pouch for pliers and a pouch on the inside for body-grip setters. The padded shoulder straps are comfortable under a heavy load and the bag has a built in break away device to escape from the bag, if falling in the water when trapping beaver, raccoon, mink, muskrat, etc. This is also an excellent land trappers bag when hiking is involved.
