Has a restriction pan that fires when the coon just tries to reach your bait. The raccoon doesn't have to grab the trigger to set off the trap. The Alcatraz trap is very easy to set with no tools needed.  There is a door on the back of the Alcatraz. The door is shut when it is set to catch raccoon, but can be opened to clean the trap or to bait the trap. You do not need to dig a hole to stabilize the Alcatraz as it comes with a stake. It is designed to stab in the ground so you can keep moving to the next coon location. The Alcatraz is a speed tool for any raccoon trapper.
